The dream was a kaleidoscope of muted colours, a soft, hazy landscape where the air itself seemed to hum with an unseen energy. I was floating, not walking, through a meadow dotted with flowers that pulsed with a gentle light. It was peaceful, disturbingly so. Then, a sound.
