Chapter 18
The Abbot's Ultimatum, a Line Drawn
Abbot Kale summons Bishop Dark for a final, stern meeting. The collateral damage from Dark's recent operation, the unsettling revelations about his methods, and the whispers of his 'evil adjacent' nature have pushed the Abbot to his limit. Kale confronts Dark directly, laying bare his profound disappointment and growing concern.
