The air in my throat felt thick, heavy, like the dust of a thousand forgotten tombs. It wasn't the kind of dust you could wipe away, but the kind that settles deep in your bones, a residue of places no sane soul would ever tread. They called it "Decipher Da Psyphers VIII," this latest offering, this glimpse into the abyss I'd navigated. They saw the video, the flickering images, the stark contrast between the abstract chaos on my canvas and the infernal revelry it eventually unveiled. But they couldn't *feel* it. Not the bone-chilling dread, not the suffocating weight of absolute despair.

I’d stood before that canvas, a blank expanse waiting to be scarred, a wooden skewer my only weapon against the encroaching void. Twenty minutes, they said. Twenty minutes to birth a vision. They saw the strokes, the splashes of color, the raw, untamed energy. They didn’t see the sweat beading on my brow, the tremors running through my hands, the desperate plea I whispered into the pigments, willing them to capture the truth of what I was about to witness. Demons, their forms grotesque and varied, their laughter a cacophony of torment, celebrating. Celebrating what? A jamboree. Lilith and Lucifer. The very architects of despair, their dominion laid bare.
