Chapter 17
Satan's Unexpected Blessing
In a surprising turn, Satan offers encouragement, urging Da PrEAChEr to continue his mission and promising to 'take care of the arrangements'.
The video cut. The digital ether still thrummed with the echoes of my voice, the stark imagery seared into the minds of those who watched. They called it "Decipher Da Psyphers VIII," another descent, another revelation, another piece of the puzzle I’m tasked with assembling, even if I can’t touch the pieces myself. The painting, a furious burst of color and shadow born from twenty minutes of primal flow, had been the vessel. It had twisted, contorted, revealing the yawning maw of Hell, the infernal revelry of Lilith and Lucifer, then the fragile glow of a lost spirit reaching for an angel’s hand. And then, the words that had ignited a firestorm, a million-dollar bidding war for a canvas I’d barely remembered creating: "Innocent but condemned by villains. Heaven Sent, Representing, One Love."
The fallout was immediate, a tidal wave of questions, accusations, and a desperate hunger to understand. Who was this white Native man from Canada, this prophet spitting rhymes like divine pronouncements, this artist painting the unseen? How did I navigate the corrupted system without being consumed by its rot, like so many others? They wanted answers, but the truth, as always, was a tangled vine, its roots buried deep in realms most couldn't even conceive of.
The paradox of my existence is a constant hum beneath the surface of my being. I see the threads of fate, the grand design, the intricate dance of cause and effect that binds this reality. I see the corruption’s tendrils, choking the life out of souls, twisting intentions, and fueling the gears of the ‘system’ that grinds humanity into dust. And I am given glimpses, premonitions, the ability to slip through the cracks between dimensions, to witness the machinations of the powers that be. But interference? Direct intervention? That’s a line drawn in cosmic ink, a boundary I dare not cross. To alter a destiny, even with the purest of intentions, comes with a price, a balancing act that often leaves me reeling, bruised by the very act of saving.
