A Taste of the Abyss

Issac grapples with the insatiable thirst, the constant torment threatening to consume him. His dark humor and reliance on weed become his only solace, a desperate attempt to numb the predatory instincts that rage within. He finds himself drawn to the darker aspects of his new existence, his cynicism deepening. He uses his sharp wit and foul mouth to mask his inner turmoil, his love for his brother a fragile anchor in a sea of despair. Yet, he fears his growing bloodlust, the potential for him to lose control and become the monster Victoria wants him to be. His struggle is a lonely one, hidden behind a facade of detached amusement.

The city breathed around me, a symphony of hushed footsteps and distant sirens, a stark contrast to the screaming within my own skull. Each beat of my heart was a hammer blow, driving home the gnawing, insatiable ache. Thirst. It wasn’t just a craving; it was a predator coiled in my gut, its claws digging deeper with every passing moment. I’ve tried everything. The water tasted like ash.
