High Luminary Seraphina sat upon a throne carved from what looked like solidified starlight, her posture impossibly perfect, her smile a serene, unwavering crescent. Her eyes, the color of a summer sky, held no warmth, only an infinite, chilling certainty.

“You have caused… disruption, Kaelen Vance,” she said, her voice like the chime of a distant, perfect bell. It resonated not just in his ears, but deep within his bones, a subtle pressure designed to soothe, to control. “A regrettable deviation from the ordained path.”

Kaelen stood before her, his worn leather armor a stark contrast to the blinding purity of the room.
