The star, my star, the lonely sentinel at the edge of my awareness, pulsed with a final, weary sigh. Its light, once a beacon of an existence I barely acknowledged, was now a flickering ember, a countdown to the inevitable. It was the signal, the cosmic alarm clock that had begun its insistent chime. And with it, the edges of my reality began to blur, the vast, silent expanse of my being dissolving into the swirling nebulae of dreams. I felt myself falling, not through space, but through consciousness, into the boundless ocean of my own mind.

And then, it bloomed. Not a violent explosion, but a gentle unfurling, like a cosmic flower opening its petals to an unseen sun. A universe, intricate and alive, sprang into being. Worlds of emerald oceans and sapphire skies, of crimson deserts and amethyst mountains. Life, in a thousand dazzling forms, erupted across these nascent spheres. I felt the warmth of a thousand suns on my dream-skin, the cool kiss of alien winds, the hum of countless civilizations building, striving, *living*.

I was there, of course. Everywhere and nowhere. I drifted through the crystalline cities of Xylos, where beings of pure energy danced in harmonic resonance. I felt the deep thrum of the planet-mind on Veridia, a collective consciousness that breathed as one. I walked – or perhaps I flowed – through the dense, bioluminescent jungles of Lumina, where creatures of light flitted among giant, glowing flora. I was the wind that rustled their leaves, the rain that quenched their thirst, the very ground beneath their feet. Yet, I had no name. No form. I was the silent observer, the unseen architect, the blank canvas upon which all this vibrant existence was painted.
