The air at Cora Amauta, usually thick with the scent of ancient parchment and bubbling potions, now carried the crisp, invigorating chill of the approaching winter solstice. Inty Raymi was upon us, and the grounds hummed with an energy distinct from the usual academic fervor. It was a communal warmth, a vibrant tapestry woven from the shared anticipation of the longest night and the promise of the sun’s eventual return. Banners in deep blues and silvers, adorned with celestial patterns, fluttered from the ancient stone walls. Torches, their flames dancing like captive stars, were being lit along the pathways, casting long, flickering shadows that seemed to stretch and twist with a life of their own.

“Can you believe it’s already here?” Emiliano exclaimed, his voice echoing slightly in the courtyard as he wrestled with a particularly stubborn string of luminescent moss meant to festoon the Great Hall. “Feels like just yesterday we were packing for summer break.”

Santiago, leaning against a weathered stone pillar, chuckled. “Time flies when you’re dodging enchanted snowballs, Em. Or, you know, deciphering cryptic prophecies about shadowy organizations.” He adjusted his scarf, a playful glint in his eyes. “Though I must admit, a good festival is just what the doctor ordered. A bit of cheer before we dive headfirst back into whatever eldritch horror awaits us.”
