His knuckles were white where they gripped the worn tabletop. The evidence was irrefutable, her fingerprints on the tools, her agility matching the impossible feats of Claw. “You expect me to believe this, Maya?” Ethan’s voice was rough, a low rumble that barely disturbed the quiet. “That you, Claw, the thief who’s baffled the city for months, is some kind of Robin Hood of antiquities?”
