Boniface confronts Silas and Thorne within the central chamber of the ruins. A tense standoff ensues as Boniface tries to understand and control the ancient energy.

The air within the central chamber thrummed, thick and heavy with an unseen force. Boniface’s boots crunched on dust that had lain undisturbed for millennia, each step a forbidden intrusion. Before him, the heart of the Whispering Ruins pulsed with a pale, ethereal light, emanating from a crystalline structure that defied earthly geometry. It was not gold, nor jewels, but something far more potent, a captured star humming with raw, untamed power. This was the treasure, the knowledge, the danger Elder Maeve had hinted at.

“Impressive, isn’t it?” Silas Vane’s voice, smooth as polished obsidian, slithered through the echoing space. Boniface spun around, his hand instinctively reaching for the worn leather grip of his machete. Silas stood at the entrance, flanked by the hulking silhouette of Captain Thorne. Thorne’s eyes, small and beady, scanned the chamber, his hand resting on the hilt of a wicked-looking blade.

“You’ve been busy, Boniface,” Silas continued, a smirk playing on his lips. “Following my trail, I presume? Or perhaps you simply got lucky.”
