Frustration, a rare and unwelcome guest, gnawed at the edges of their composure. They tapped a long, elegant finger against the shimmering display. "Report," the Architect commanded, their voice a low, resonant hum that seemed to vibrate the very air in the sterile, obsidian chamber.

A servile drone, its metallic shell polished to a mirror sheen, glided forward. "Sector 7-Gamma shows an unexpected stabilization of resource distribution, Architect. Predicted scarcity was to initiate a regional conflict. Instead, an anonymous digital entity rerouted surplus shipments. No discernible pattern. No signature."
