Chapter 6

Children of the Mist

The rumors about the witches' coven grow more disturbing. They aren't merely seeking power; they're taking children. The whispers speak not of sacrifice, but of abductions, of young lives being drawn into the coven's mysterious embrace. Bishop Dark finds himself grappling with a disquieting truth: the 'evil' he's tasked to destroy might be far more complex, perhaps even protective, than the Church's black-and-white doctrine allows. This unsettling revelation complicates his mission and begins to erode his certainty.
