Chapter 5

When Meaning Remains Distant: Embracing the Silence

Elias guides Sarah and David through dealing with passages that feel silent or unclear, introducing practical ways to sit with uncertainty and find meaning in waiting. David wrestles with an obscure psalm, while Sarah encounters a parable she cannot decipher. Elias reassures them that spiritual growth often emerges from persistence, patience, and honest questions. The chapter closes with the group encouraged to keep a 'waiting journal,' recording moments of ambiguity and glimpses of insight, and looks ahead to exploring communal study.
