A Land of Rhymes and Legs
Bartholomew lands in a whimsical realm where all creatures walk on two legs and converse in rhyming couplets. He encounters Reginald, a flamboyant talking mushroom, who becomes his unlikely guide.
Bartholomew landed, not with a bleat of surprise, but with a rather dignified thump. His spectacles, thankfully, remained perched precariously on his nose. He found himself standing on what felt suspiciously like moss, but it was a moss of a most vibrant, almost offensively cheerful green. And the air! It smelled of… well, it smelled like a meadow after a particularly enthusiastic rain shower, but with an undercurrent of something akin to sugared violets.
He blinked, his woolly head swiveling. The portal, that shimmering, chirping enigma, was gone. Vanished. Poof. Just like that. He was alone. Or so he thought.
Then he noticed the legs.
