The air in the Chromatic Beasts’ realm hummed with an energy Leo was still unaccustomed to, a vibrant thrum that vibrated through his scales and the very marrow of his bones. He’d spent days, or perhaps weeks – time was a fluid thing here, measured more by the shifting hues of the sky than the ticking of a clock – navigating the tangled, bioluminescent flora, his monstrous form a constant, exhilarating secret.
