Prince Leo, his boots crunching on leaves that shimmered like fallen stars, finally arrived at the place the old dragon had described. It wasn't a grand castle or a hidden grotto, but a sun-dappled clearing buzzing with activity. And there, in the very center of it all, was a princess. But she wasn’t sitting on a velvet cushion, weeping into a silken handkerchief, as Leo had half-expected. No, Princess Lily was crouched down, her hands covered in what looked suspiciously like berry juice, gently tending to a tiny, whimpering fox with a bandaged paw. Around her, a flurry of squirrels chattered, birds chirped encouragingly, and even a grumpy-looking badger seemed to be offering moral support.

Leo blinked. This was Princess Lily? The one he was supposed to rescue from her own melancholy? She looked… busy. And remarkably cheerful, considering she was surrounded by woodland creatures and not, as his mother had so dramatically put it, "lost to the world."
