Ravine embraces her role as a dominant force, her actions becoming more decisive. Tina accepts the responsibilities that come with being with her.
The air in the opulent penthouse felt heavier tonight, thick with the scent of expensive perfume and the unspoken anxieties of power. Ravine, draped in a silk robe the color of a bruised plum, surveyed the city lights spread out below like a scattered handful of diamonds. Her usual restless energy was a coiled spring, waiting for release. Tina, perched on the edge of the plush sofa, watched her, a familiar mixture of awe and apprehension swirling in her chest.
“You are quiet tonight, *malyshka*,” Ravine’s voice, a low rumble with its characteristic Russian cadence, cut through the silence. She turned, her dark eyes, usually sharp and assessing, held a flicker of something softer, something that made Tina’s breath catch. It was a look Ravine rarely allowed, a fleeting glimpse of the woman beneath the hardened exterior.
Tina offered a shy smile. “Just… thinking.”
