The sterile white of the studio felt more like a tomb than a workspace. Fluorescent lights hummed, a sickly, unwavering drone that echoed the ceaseless demands of my existence. They called it "perfection." I called it a suffocating shroud. My producers, their faces etched with a blend of proprietary pride and barely-concealed anxiety, circled me like vultures. Their eyes, sharp and assessing, dissected every subtle shift in my posture, every flicker of my expression. They were the architects of my smile, the sculptors of my flawless facade, and now, they sensed a tremor in the foundation.

"Miku, darling," Mr. Tanaka began, his voice smooth as polished chrome, yet laced with an undercurrent of steel. He adjusted his tie, a nervous tic he’d developed whenever he felt his perfect creation slipping. "You seem… a little distracted today. Is everything alright?"
