The hum of the city was a constant, a low thrumming beneath the surface of my existence, a melody I’d grown so accustomed to that its absence would have been jarring. Yet, in the quiet corners of my mind, a different kind of hum had begun to resonate, a persistent, insistent vibration that spoke of more than just urban noise. It was the echo of Crow. His presence, even when he wasn't there, had become a tangible thing, a warmth that settled in my chest, a color that bled into the monochrome of my days.

My analytical mind, usually occupied with dissecting the mechanics of the world, had begun to notice the patterns. The same dimly lit cafe, the same obscure bookstore, the same late-night tram. Each instance felt less like a coincidence and more like a carefully curated scene.
