Hyunjin finally confronts Jinwoo backstage. He lays bare his suspicions, accusing Jinwoo of exploiting Felix's illness for personal gain. The air crackles with tension.

The air backstage was thick with the usual pre-show buzz, a symphony of hurried footsteps, hushed conversations, and the distant thrum of the crowd’s anticipation. But for Hyunjin, the energy felt different tonight, charged with a nervous static that had been building for weeks. He watched from the shadows of a towering stack of equipment cases as Jinwoo moved through the organized chaos, a beacon of effortless grace. Jinwoo, with his easy smile and fluid movements, had become a familiar, almost constant, presence on stage lately. A presence that, to Hyunjin’s increasingly wary eyes, felt less like a support and more like a carefully orchestrated replacement.

Felix was backstage, too, his usual vibrant energy dimmed by the persistent fatigue that clung to him like a second skin. He sat on a worn stool, his head bowed, a damp cloth pressed to his forehead. Hyunjin’s heart ached with a familiar pang. Every pale cheek, every shallow breath, was a stark reminder of the vulnerability that Felix tried so hard to hide. He was a fragile butterfly, and the world, Hyunjin feared, was a clumsy hand reaching out.

Jinwoo, as if sensing Hyunjin’s gaze, turned. His smile was bright, a practiced gleam that didn’t quite reach his eyes. "Hyunjin-ssi," he called out, his voice smooth as polished stone. "Worried about Felix-ssi?" He approached, his movements unhurried, his gaze lingering on Felix for a beat too long. "He’s been through so much. We all hope for his speedy recovery."
