Chapter 10
Chapter 10
Tjay wakes in the hospital, confronted by her mother about the night's events. As rumors swirl at school, Tjay tries to prove her gift is real while grappling with a new vision of an old woman she suspects is her grandmother. The chapter ends with Tjay discovering a hidden truth in her mother's journals that shatters her understanding of her family.

“Can you tell me your name?” the paramedic asked.
“Tjay.” Her voice came out cracked, tiny. “Tjay Miller.”
