Chapter 18
Honey-Flavored Magic
Baby Blue Bears discovers his love for honey-flavored magic is stronger than ever, now that he can use it to spread joy. He creates a special treat for the villagers, cementing his optimistic outlook.

The colors were so bright they practically hummed, the laughter of the villagers bubbled like a fresh spring, and the air… oh, the air smelled like sunshine and honey and everything good in the world. Russo was right beside me, his own tail thumping a steady rhythm of relief against my side. We’d done it! We’d actually done it!

It was the magic, of course, but it was more than that. It was a specific kind of magic, a warm, sweet, fuzzy feeling that always made me want to do something delightful. Honey-flavored magic.
