Johny is brought to Dr Wagners home a good friend of Mark's. Dr Wagner has been out of medicine for a long time but still has the knowledge to help. His license had been pulled many years ago for preforming unauthorized operations in his home. But people still came to him for help. Mark pulled me suv up to the Wagner home set well of the road. He blew the horn as he got close amhis wife screamed, your scaring the boy. Dr Wagner came out of the house and yelled, what's going on Mark. I've got a hurt little boy here and you have to help. One look at Johny and the doctor said this boy belongs in a hospital. Did you look at his clothes and what is sticking out of his back. The doctor took a closer look and said bring to house we'll see what we can do. They laid Johny on a beds Mrs. Wagner entered the room and let out a muffled scream. My God what happened to this child. Mark and go on to explain how and where he was found and how he said some people had been attacking his home,his ma and pa and sister were still there Mrs. Wagner said why didn't you take him to a hospital. Mark said look at his clothes and the arrow sticking out of his back, how would I explain that
Mark’s SUV crunched over the gravel, spitting stones as he steered it towards the secluded house. It sat far back from the road, a weathered sentinel against the encroaching twilight. He honked the horn, a sharp blast that seemed to startle the very air. Sarah gasped, her hand flying to oher chest. “Mark, you’re scaring the boy!”
A figure emerged from the porch, silhouetted against the dim interior light. It was Dr. Wagner, his frame stooped, his voice a gravelly rumble that carried across the yard. “What’s going on, Mark?”
“I’ve got a hurt little boy here, Doctor, and you have to help.” Mark’s voice was tight with urgency.
