Splashy's Playful Wink

The afternoon sun beat down, warm and golden, as Blaze and Luna emerged from the dizzying descent of the Viper’s Coil. They tumbled onto the soft, damp matting, breathless and giggling, their swimsuits clinging to their skin. Luna’s eyes sparkled, her hair a cascade of dark waves plastered to her cheeks, and Blaze’s heart did its usual erratic flutter. He loved seeing her like this, utterly uninhibited, her laughter like wind chimes in the summer air.

“Again!” Luna exclaimed, her voice hoarse from shouting over the roar of the water. She was already pulling him towards the winding staircase that led back to the top of the slide.

Blaze, though equally exhilarated, felt a familiar pang of shyness creep in. “Are you sure? My legs are starting to feel like jelly.”
