Chapter 12
A Chat with Nana Sadie: Wisdom and Waffles
Amy shares a heartwarming chat with her adopted Nana Sadie, perhaps over some delicious waffles. Expect gentle advice and shared laughter, a true comfort. I paused, spatula hovering over the golden-brown circle I’d just coaxed from the iron, a grin spreading across my face. "And sometimes, Rex, I think you just like watching the show. Plus," I added, winking, "you get waffles. A win-win, wouldn't you say?"
