The stars stretched into pale streaks as the Eternal Voyager cut through the void toward Theran-VI. Inside the cargo bay, Kenny sat cross-legged on the cold metal floor, palms open, trying to coax the golden energy from his core. It flickered weakly, like a candle in a hurricane.
Mera stood behind him, arms crossed. "You're holding back. Let it breathe."
"I don't know how to let it breathe. It feels like it's stuck."
