The sun, a distant, rosy orb in the Martian sky, cast long, dancing shadows across the dusty plains. Brian, his jar gleaming under the strange light, felt a tug in his bubbly, brainy heart. It wasn't the usual tap-dancing thrill, the kind that made his spectator shoes click and clack with pure joy. This was a different feeling, a soft ache that whispered of home. He tapped out a message on his jar, a series of quick, sharp beats that echoed through the quiet playground. Lily, who was sitting nearby, arranging a colorful collection of pebbles, looked up. Tom, who had been attempting to teach a bewildered ladybug to do a somersault, paused, his eyes wide.
