Chapter 6
Reunion and Radiance
Lyra is exonerated, her magical potential recognized. Her name is cleared, and she and Elias are finally reunited. Their love, tested by darkness, shines brighter, ready for whatever future awaits them.
The great hall of Sunstone Academy, usually a place of hushed reverence and the gentle hum of ambient magic, was now filled with a palpable tension. Elias’s breath hitched. Lyra. He strained to see her, his senses reaching out, yearning for her presence. He remembered the chilling emptiness of her last few letters, the way her usual effervescent prose had tightened, becoming clipped and guarded. He’d felt it then, a gnawing unease that had propelled him from Eldoria’s familiar streets to this place of ancient stones and arcane arts.
