The mansion held its breath, a mausoleum of forgotten grandeur. Dust motes danced in the slivers of light that dared to penetrate the grimy panes, each speck a tiny, incandescent ghost. Min drifted, a phantom tethered to this decaying monument, his black hair a stark contrast against the faded opulence. His glasses, perpetually askew, magnified the emptiness in his spectral eyes. He was a memory given form, a chill that clung to the air, his existence a perpetual echo of a life brutally extinguished.
