2. 2The Big MoveA cloud appears when Leo tells Carter he's moving away. Carter's heart sinks. They promise to stay friends, but the thought of Leo leaving makes Carter feel a heavy sadness he's never known before.
3. 3A Shadow FallsCarter's sunny days turn gray. He doesn't want to play outside anymore. His favorite games feel dull, and he just wants to be alone. A big cloud of sadness seems to follow him everywhere.
4. 4Gentle WordsMom and Dad notice Carter's quietness. They sit with him, their voices soft and kind. They ask him how he's feeling, not pushing, just offering a safe space for Carter to share his big, confusing emotions.
