Anya watched her grandfather, Elara, his weathered hands tracing the faded lines on a tattered map. The drought had tightened its grip, turning their meager water stores into a memory and their small patch of earth into a cracked, sun-baked canvas. Mara, her face etched with a weariness that mirrored the land itself, had spoken the words they all dreaded: "We must leave. There is no more water here."

Anya’s heart ached. This dusty settlement, with its ramshackle homes and the familiar faces of neighbors, was all she had ever known. But the stories Elara told, of a time when the world was green and vibrant, when machines hummed with purpose, had planted a different seed within her. The Dust Road Legacy, the legendary motorcycle, was more than just a tale; it was a promise.

"The Old Road," Elara murmured, his voice raspy. "It leads east. To the skeletal mountains. That's where the old maps say the workshop was."
