As they venture deeper, they begin to sense the Lumina Steed's presence – a faint glow, a guiding warmth, a promise on the wind.
The biting wind, once an adversary, now seemed to carry a subtle encouragement. It whispered through the sparse, frost-laden pines, a sound that Finn, with his pragmatic ear, initially dismissed as mere atmospheric noise. But Elara, her senses attuned to the subtle shifts of the world around her, felt it differently. It was a hum, a resonant frequency that vibrated not just in the air, but deep within her bones. Kael, ever the observer, noticed the change in both his friends. Elara’s eyes, usually focused on the immediate path, now scanned the shimmering, aurora-draped sky with an almost reverent intensity. Finn, while still keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings, had a new alertness about him, his head cocked as if listening to a distant melody.
"Do you feel that?" Elara breathed, her voice barely a murmur against the rustling ice.
Finn nodded, a flicker of surprise crossing his usually stoic face. "It's… different. Not just the cold, or the silence. It’s like… a warmth, but not from the sun."
