Leon and his friends explore the hidden grove beneath the crucible, discovering an ancient altar where the spirits of the sixth tribe reside. A spirit reveals that to defeat Kain permanently, Leon must merge the six tribes' essences into a single godbeast, a choice that will erase the Night Bloods as a separate tribe. Rina is revealed to be the reincarnation of the spirit's daughter. Leon accepts, and the spirits empower him, transforming him into a new godbeast. The chapter ends as they emerge into a battlefield where Kain awaits.
The grove was quiet, lit by softly glowing fungi that clung to the low ceiling like stars made of moss. Leon sat up slowly, rubbing his shoulder where he had landed. Around him, his friends untangled themselves from the heap they had fallen into. Torn groaned, stretched his arms, and looked around with wide eyes.
"Well, this is cozy," Misty said, brushing dirt from her blue scales. Silva clung to her side, still trembling from the collapse.
Leon stood, the golden light still pulsing gently in his chest. The warmth felt different here—deeper, as if the grove itself was humming in harmony with it. He took a step forward, and the fungi flickered, brightening in response.
