It wasn’t a sudden, blinding flash of lightning that changed everything, nor was it a thunderclap that shook the foundations of my doubt. It was more like the relentless, quiet persistence of water against stone. The kind of change that happens so gradually, so consistently, you almost don’t notice it until you look back and see how much the landscape has shifted. Resilience, I discovered, wasn't a one-time act of defiance; it was a muscle, and mine was finally getting strong.

The days of feeling utterly blindsided by a setback, of collapsing under the weight of a fresh disappointment, were starting to fade. They were replaced by a steady hum of knowing. Knowing that the storm would come, yes, but also knowing that I had weathered storms before, and I would weather this one too. It was less about fighting the tide and more about learning to swim with it, understanding its currents, and trusting my own ability to stay afloat.
