Beside him, Seraphina held her own torch aloft, her gaze sweeping over the intricate symbols etched into the very fabric of the place. They had followed the fragmented map, deciphered the cryptic riddles, and now stood at what felt like the precipice of everything.
“This is it, isn’t it?” Seraphina’s voice was a low murmur, barely disturbing the oppressive silence. “The Heart of Aethelgard.”
Elias nodded, a knot of apprehension tightening in his stomach. The stories spoke of it, a relic of immense power, capable of either sealing away the Shadow Weaver or unleashing its full fury. He felt a strange pull, a resonance deep within his bones, as if the chamber itself was singing a song only he could hear.
