The air in the cottage hummed with a new kind of energy, a resonance that had started subtly but now vibrated through Werner’s very bones. It wasn't just the familiar warmth of Pappa’s hearth or the scent of drying herbs that filled the small space; it was something deeper, something ancient and alive. He could feel the trees’ gratitude, a gentle tremor of appreciation for his awareness.
