Chapter 4

Chapter 4

The silver field dream manifests as a luminous figure that speaks with Boon's sacrificed memory of her mother's voice. It reveals itself as a stolen dream, warns her of a 'Keeper of Unspooled Things' who will come to reclaim the thread, and instructs her to find a 'first dream'—the only thing that cannot be locked away. The dream dissolves, leaving Boon with a new silver thread. The Keeper's footsteps approach, the chest glows ominously, and Kael calls from outside as the room begins to burn. Boon runs.
