Chapter 14
Elara's Perception
During a moment of crisis, Elara witnesses a subtle manifestation of the veil's power, solidifying her belief in Julijona and hinting at her own latent sensitivity.

Julijona offered a soft smile, reaching out to gently squeeze Elara’s hand. "It doesn't sound mad to me, Elara. Not anymore." She felt the faint thrum of the Vaseline’s power against her palm, a comforting warmth that had become as familiar as her own heartbeat. The ‘Original Protecting Jelly’ had become more than just a balm for her skin; it was a lens, a shield, and now, it seemed, a beacon.
