But the memory of what he had left behind, the whispers of his people’s suffering, had never truly faded.

Beside him, Anya, her fiery red hair whipped by the wind, adjusted the sail with practiced ease. Her presence was a constant, grounding force, a reminder of the love that had blossomed in the unlikeliest of circumstances. They had faced storms that threatened to swallow them whole, battled creatures born of nightmare, and navigated the treacherous currents of human betrayal. Through it all, their bond had only deepened, tempered by shared hardship and unwavering loyalty.

"Land ho!" The cry echoed from the crow's nest, a beacon of hope piercing the vast expanse of blue. Theron’s heart leaped. This was not Eldoria, not yet, but it was a sign. A port, a place to gather intelligence, to perhaps find allies, and to finally begin the orchestrated return that had been brewing in his mind’s crucible. The usurper, Lord Valerius, had grown fat and complacent on his stolen throne, his grip weakening with every act of tyranny. The whispers of Theron’s return had indeed reached the ears of his people, igniting embers of rebellion that were waiting for a spark.
