Chapter 6
Unraveling the Threads
Together, Danguolė and Jonas use her gift to confront the source of the disturbances. They discover it’s tied to a forgotten secret, a misunderstanding rooted in Danguolė's own hidden history.

Like a heavy blanket. I’ve been feeling it too, stronger these past few days.” She closed her eyes for a moment, concentrating. The whispers, usually a gentle murmur, were a frantic chorus now, a symphony of unease. She felt the echoes of forgotten arguments, the lingering sadness of lost opportunities, the faint, sharp sting of betrayal. It was all here, woven into the very fabric of this building.
