Chapter 17
The Lattice Unleashed
The Weaver leader attempts to forcibly control the Lattice. Elara must fight back, using its power in ways she never thought possible.
The air crackled, not with the usual static of the temporal marketplace, but with a raw, untamed energy that made Elara’s teeth ache. Elara’s breath hitched. The Weaver’s aura was a suffocating weight, a familiar chill that spoke of betrayal and a past she desperately tried to outrun. She could feel the Lattice vibrating beneath her skin, a frantic thrumming that mirrored her own racing heart. It was no longer a passive observer; it was a beast roused from slumber, and the Weaver’s touch was the prod that had awakened its fury.
