Chapter 8
Unfolding Narratives
She ponders the countless stories Scheherazade wove, realizing that her own mind holds a similar potential for weaving tales and sharing secrets.
The scent of old paper, a comforting perfume of forgotten days, still clung to Danguolė’s clothes, a subtle reminder of her latest explorations. But today, the archives felt a little less like a place of solid answers and more like a whispered question. She traced the worn spines of books, each one a silent guardian of stories, and her thoughts drifted, as they often did, to Scheherazade.
Scheherazade. The name itself was a silken thread, weaving through Danguolė’s imagination. They unfurled, page after page, night after night, each one leading to another, a boundless, beautiful unfolding.
