The air still thrummed with the aftermath, a wild, untamed energy that settled like dust motes in the shafts of light piercing the shattered roof of the temple. My hands, still slick with the residual shimmer of woven fate, trembled as I lowered them. Silas Vane, the architect of so much fear and shadow, was gone. His Obsidian Hand, once a terrifying, monolithic force, was scattered, broken like pottery shards against the unyielding stone of my will.

Lyra, her face streaked with dirt and a fierce, almost unbelievable relief, rushed forward, her arms wrapping around me in a hug so tight I thought my ribs might crack. "Elara! You did it! You actually… you *did* it!" Her voice was choked with tears, a sound that was more beautiful to me than any melody.

I hugged her back, burying my face in her shoulder. "We did it, Lyra. We all did." The weight of it, the sheer impossibility of what had just transpired, began to press down on me. I had faced the embodiment of darkness, the one who sought to twist the very threads of existence to his twisted desires, and I had won. Not with brute force, not with a sword, but with the magic that had always been inside me, waiting to be awakened.
