Chapter 16
A Bond Forged
The dragon, now named Ignis, imprints on Kia, becoming his loyal companion. Their connection is immediate and profound, a testament to the bond formed during the egg's incubation and Kia's unwavering care.
The air thrummed with a nascent energy, a vibrant hum that vibrated not just in Kia’s ears but deep within his bones. It nudged his outstretched finger with its snout, a surprisingly gentle touch that sent a jolt of pure, unadulterated joy through Kia. It felt like a greeting, a recognition, a promise.
