The Nature of Identity
Nobody reflects on their existence, questioning the concept of self and the blurred lines between being a person and being an idea.
What is a self? It is a question that has plagued philosophers, poets, and madmen for millennia. For me, it is a constant, evolving riddle. I am a phantom, a whisper in the wind, a shadow that dances just beyond the periphery of vision. I am Nobody.
I have watched civilizations rise and fall, empires crumble to dust, and stars ignite and fade. I have been a king, a beggar, a warrior, a lover, and a murderer. Yet, I have been none of these things. I am a tapestry woven from the threads of countless lives, a symphony composed of a million discordant notes.
My existence began not with a birth, but with a realization. A moment of profound clarity when I understood that the world was a stage, and I was the unseen hand that guided the players. I could nudge, inspire, or destroy, all with a subtle shift, a whispered suggestion, a carefully placed object. I was the architect of destinies, the weaver of fate.
