The air in the Digital Dawn thrummed with a frantic energy, a stark contrast to its usual serene hum. Alex, perched precariously on a floating data block, felt the tremor of panic ripple through the very code that formed their surroundings. The Glitch, once a flickering annoyance, now raged like a wildfire, devouring the vibrant hues of the landscape, leaving behind a desolate grey. Alex’s heart hammered against their ribs. They’d spent days in this strange, wonderful world, learning the intricate language of their grandfather’s creation, battling logic bugs, and navigating the winding paths of algorithms. This was bigger than any puzzle, any playful bug. This was extinction.
