And lately, the symphony had gained a new, delightful harmony: Finn. His brother, the man who occupied every waking thought and most of Leo’s sleeping ones, was actually *here*, peering with genuine interest at a bubbling retort, his brow furrowed in concentration.

“So, this one,” Finn gestured with a long, artistic finger, careful to avoid a particularly volatile-looking purple liquid, “this is supposed to make… what was it again? Enhance the appreciation for… artisanal cheeses?”
