Quest-making

The moon, a polished silver disc, spilled its cool light through the dense canopy, painting the forest floor in shifting patterns of shadow and luminescence. Pablo stood with the Argentinosaurus family beneath the glowing trees, feeling the familiar thrill of adventure thrumming in his chest. The air was a heady mix of damp earth, sweet pine, and the crispness of approaching night. Adam smiled as he looked toward Pablo.

“Pablo, this here is my wife, Xénia, my daughter, Rosie, and my three sons, Nikesh, Zsolt, and Izain,” Adam said, introducing his family. “Hello,” Xénia, Rosie, Nikesh, Zsolt, and Izain said together. Pablo looked at Adam’s family curiously, his eyes moving from one Argentinosaurus to another. “Wow! More Argentinosaurus,” Pablo said, fascinated. Rosie nodded. “Yes,” Rosie said. “And who are you?” Adam smiled and lowered his head toward Pablo. “Everyone, this here is my new friend, Pablo,” Adam said, introducing him to his family. “I’ve heard about Pablo and his love for Argentinosauruses.” Pablo smiled at the family. “Hello, everyone!” Pablo said with a friendly smile. The kids looked at Pablo with friendly smiles. “Nice to meet you, Pablo!” Rosie, Nikesh, Zsolt, and Izain said together. “Nice to meet you, too!” Pablo replied. Izain looked at Pablo curiously. “We’ve heard about you too, Pablo,” Izain said. “We’ve heard about how much you love Argentinosauruses, but we’ve never met you before.” Pablo’s eyes lit up with curiosity. “You’ve heard about me too?” Pablo asked. “We have,” Izain replied.

Zsolt stepped forward with a small map and held it out toward Pablo. “Here, Pablo, have this,” Zsolt said. Adam lowered his head so Pablo could reach the map. Pablo carefully took it from Zsolt. “Thank you, Zsolt,” Pablo said. Adam lifted his head back up. “What’s this by the way?” Pablo asked curiously, looking at the map. “That’s a map of the forest,” Zsolt explained. “It shows the paths through the woods and the way to lots of places.”

Pablo studied the map carefully, his eyes following the mysterious route. “Hmm… let’s see,” Pablo said, tracing the route with his finger. “This path goes through the forest, and then it turns here.” Pablo looked closer at the map. “I wonder where this path leads,” he said curiously. “There must be something interesting at the end of it.” Pablo continued studying the mysterious route. “This is going to be amazing!” Pablo exclaimed excitedly. Adam stood patiently, waiting for Pablo to finish studying the mysterious route.

Pablo looked ahead and then down at the map once more. “Where are we going?” Zsolt asked. “We’re going to the local art centre!” Pablo announced. The Argentinosaurus family became very happy and excited. “We’ve never been to an art studio before!” Rosie exclaimed. “I’ve been to an art studio many times in all my life,” Pablo said proudly. The family looked at Pablo with eager expressions. “Can we come with you?” Xénia asked. “Yes!” Pablo replied. “As long as you stay very quiet while we’re there. It’s nighttime, and we don’t want to disturb the security guards working the night shift.” The Argentinosaurus family nodded happily. “We can do that!” they all agreed. “Are you ready?” Pablo asked the family. “Ready, Pablo!” they all said together.

The Argentinosaurus family began walking along the path with Pablo perched on Adam. “Let’s go!” Pablo cheered. As the Argentinosaurus family walked along the path, Pablo looked around at his new friends. “You know,” said Pablo, “I’ve been on lots of adventures in my life. I love exploring new places and discovering interesting things along the way.” Pablo looked up at Adam as they continued along the glowing trail. “One of the things I love most about Argentinosauruses is how enormous they are,” Pablo continued. “They had incredibly long necks and tails, big bodies, and strong legs. They were some of the biggest dinosaurs ever to walk on Earth!” The Argentinosaurus family listened with interest. “I used to think an Argentinosaurus’s back would be too delicate for someone to ride on,” Pablo said thoughtfully. “But I don’t think that way about you guys, because you’re all my friends, and I trust all of you to carry me safely everywhere we go.” Adam, Xénia, and the children looked delighted by Pablo’s kind words. “That’s very kind of you to say, Pablo,” Xénia said warmly. “It makes us extremely happy that you trust us,” Adam added. Rosie smiled brightly. “We’re glad you don’t think our backs are too weak!” she said. Nikesh, Zsolt, and Izain nodded happily. “Yeah!” they said together. Pablo smiled at his new friends. “I’m happy too!” Pablo replied.

“I also love riding animals because it gives me a different way to experience an adventure,” Pablo continued. “From up high, I can see so much more of the world around me. But the most important thing is that the animal is comfortable and happy

with it, too.” Rosie smiled. “That sounds like you really care about the animals,” Rosie said. “I do!” Pablo replied happily. “That’s one of the reasons I love going on adventures with them.” Xénia smiled warmly at Pablo. “Tonight is your lucky night, Pablo,” Xénia said. “Your wish has really come true.” Pablo looked at Xénia with delight. “My wish has come true?” Pablo asked. “Yes,” Xénia replied. “You’ve always wanted to spend time with Argentinosauruses, and now you’re travelling with us on Adam’s head!” Pablo’s face lit up with delight. “Yay!” Pablo cheered. The Argentinosaurus family smiled and happily walked along the glowing trail with Pablo on Adam’s head, continuing their extraordinary quest beneath the moonlit trees.

As they walked, Zsolt looked at Pablo.

“Speaking of backs, Pablo, sometime you might be able to ride on my back.” Zsolt offered.

Pablo looked at Zsolt carefully and noticed his smaller size compared with Adam.

“Wait a minute, Zsolt." said Pablo. You’re smaller than Adam. Are you sure you can carry me on your back?”

“Of course I can!” Zsolt replied confidently. “My back is strong as steel!”

Pablo looked at Zsolt in awe.

“Wow!” Pablo exclaimed.

Zsolt smiled mischievously.

“And there’s something else you should know,” Zsolt explained. “Every time someone lands on my back hard, I fart.”

Pablo giggled.

“You do?” Pablo asked.

“I do!” Zsolt replied. “And I think this could work if you try that out too!”

Pablo laughed as Zsolt smiled proudly.

“I’d love to!” Pablo said, happily accepting Zsolt’s offer.

The whole Argentinosaurus family laughed together as they continued walking along the glowing trail.

As Pablo and the Argentinosaurus family happily walked along the glowing trail, something moved quietly behind one of the trees.

Hidden in the darkness was the mysterious dark force.

It watched the group carefully, noticing the small traveller riding on Adam’s head.

“Hmm… who is that?” the dark force wondered.

It watched Pablo curiously for a moment.

“I don’t know who that little one is yet,” the dark force whispered, “but I want him.”

The dark force thought carefully about what to do.

“I’ll scare his friends out of their bones,” it said with a sinister grin, “and then I’ll snatch the little traveller away!”

The dark force chuckled quietly.

“That’s my plan. Now I just have to wait for the right moment.”

It slipped back behind the tree and remained hidden.

Meanwhile, Pablo and the Argentinosaurus family continued happily along the glowing trail, completely unaware that they were being watched.

Together, Pablo and the Argentinosaurus family walked toward the glowing trail, beginning their extraordinary quest beneath the moonlit trees.
