Chapter 12
Pablo's Clubhouse
Pablo got reunited with his parents, looking so disappointed.
Glint and Old Paint begin building the structure for Pablo. Before they start, Pablo takes off his cowboy hat, puts it into Old Paint’s sack and then puts on his hard hat. They carefully follow the blueprint, making sure that every part they build is exactly the same as the plan. Pablo, perched atop Old Paint’s back, doesn’t actually know anything about it yet because the structure is going to be a mega surprise for him, Old Paint, and Glint. Glint checks the blueprint while Old Paint helps with the construction.
They build the bottom of the structure. Glint looks over their work. “Everything we're building matches the blueprint perfectly,” said Glint. Old Paint gives a happy neigh.
“OK, Pablo,” said Old Paint wisely. “We’re working right now, so could you please close your eyes? We don’t want you to see everything yet because it’s going to be a surprise.”
“OK, boys,” said Pablo. “I’ll try & keep my eyes closed!” Pablo closes his eyes while Glint and Old Paint continue working on the surprise. Suddenly, Pablo’s blue phone gives a notification. Pablo suddenly opens his eyes. “Oh! What’s that?” asks Pablo.
He checks his blue phone and sees that it’s time for the lunch break. “It’s lunchtime, boys!” called Pablo.
Glint and Old Paint stop building for the lunch break. Pablo brings out his lunchbox. He opens it up and looks inside. Inside are Pablo’s favourite food: ham and cheese sandwiches. Pablo smiles happily. “Ham and cheese sandwiches!” says Pablo. Pablo gets ready to enjoy his lunch while Glint and Old Paint take their lunch break too.
