Chapter 10
Return to Shore
Shaken but alive, Elias heads back to shore, the vast ocean now holding a newfound respect and a healthy dose of fear. His tale of survival will be long remembered.

He’d felt its presence before he’d seen its sleek, grey form slicing through the water, a torpedo of muscle and teeth. It had been a relentless chase, the ‘Sea Serpent’ bucking and groaning like a wounded beast, the shark a constant, terrifying presence just astern. The water churned, a furious froth of white, as if the ocean itself was trying to swallow them whole.
